Quick rip

In Te Ngahere some year 7&8’s had the chance to go to the Keri Keri Rugby Field including me. First we were given a parent to go with to the Keri Keri Rugby Field, I got to go with Fonz’s Nana. We went there to play a Quick Rip Tournament. Once we got to the rugby field we had to find out which field we were going to play on. After that we found a spot to put our bags. Then we had to wait to 10:30 for our first game against Keri Keri 2 I was really nervous. After that we waited around 20 minutes then we played Rawene then Kaikohe. We won against Keri Keri 2 and Rawene then lost our game against Kaikohe. Once we finished our games we played passes and I did really well at catching during passes which me made me feel happy. Then the ball got kicked onto the roof and Fonz climbed up to get it. Finally we went back to school but Fonz’s Nana took us to McDonald s to get a frozen drink. I really liked my Blueberry and Raspberry drink it was really tasty. I enjoyed playing Quick Rip and I felt really proud of myself when I got 2 tries. I think next time I could try catching the ball better during the games. I also think next time I need to learn the rules a bit better instead of just joining the team blind.
